Deleted file recovery
Deleted files, an emptied Recycle Bin, a formatted drive or a laptop reset to factory settings: the data is often still there until it is overwritten. Stop using the drive and talk to us.
Stop using the drive now
- Don’t install recovery software on the same drive.
- Don’t save files, browse the web or let updates run.
- Shut the laptop down, or unplug the drive, and call us.
On a hard drive, deleted files usually stay recoverable for a while. On an SSD, TRIM often erases them within minutes, so speed matters even more.

No data, no recovery fee. If we can’t recover the files you need, you don’t pay for the recovery, only the cleanroom diagnostic where one was carried out. A donor drive, if one is needed, is bought at cost plus 30%.
Questions
Can you recover files after a factory reset?
Sometimes. A quick reset on a hard drive often leaves much of the old data. A full reset, or any reset on an SSD, usually erases it.
